• Programming/ coding - Contributes in embedded firmware development as per the detailed design specification provided
• Unit test script/ code development - Develops unit test codes & scripts to ensure coverage of all test specifications
• Unit test execution and test report generation - Executes unit test cases and scripts and generates test reports
• Defect tracking and analysis - Analyzes test results to identify code/ script defects and reports the same
• Defect fixing - if any defect is detected and reported, works on defect fixing ensuring manager/senior is updated of the same
• S/W Integration testing and test report - works towards software integration testing and generates the test reports
• Support DVT, Board bring up, testing and report generation - Is involved in board bring-up, testing and report generation
• Support System testing and test report - works towards system testing and generates the test reports

• Sound knowledge of Embedded SW programming in C, C , Real Time OS
• Strong debugging skills, working with new/existing, complex code base
• Knowledge in multi-thread architectures involving multiple processes, Board bring up
• Work experience & knowledge on 8/16/32 bit microcontrollersand ARM
• Knowledge of design of serial / network communications including UART, CAN, I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet (TCP/IP, UDP).

• Stacks/Middleware integration (Bluetooth, USB, Ethernet etc.) Configuration Management: Should have working experience with tools like Git, JIRA etc

• Knowledge of IEC 62304/ISO13485 standards is added advantage. Hands on experience in using measurement equipment like multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function generator etc.

• Quality systems: Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 62304 is desirable. Medical domain software development experience is desirable
